CTS Ready to Run Sales Prizemoney
In an exciting and timely announcement for the South African racing and breeding industries, CTS has today announced the prize money of their ready-to-run races in both Cape town and Johannesburg for 2015.
The Lanzerac Ready to Run Stakes presented by CTS has received a R500,000 increase taking it to R2,500,000 in stakes while the Emperors Palace Ready to Run Cup presented by CTS will carry the same purse.
“We’ve always prided ourselves as innovative, and we believe that this initiative will be well received by both Buyers and Vendors” said CTS COO Adrian Todd.
He further went on to say, “We want all of our clients to attend the upcoming sales confidently knowing that any horse they purchase will be in the running for R2.5 million in stakes in 2015”
In a further boost for Buyers, CTS announced that buyers at both sales would receive the lucrative payment terms of 90 days with Vendors receiving guaranteed payments.
“We set a precedent for our Buyers and Sellers at our inception, and we feel it’s very important that we continue to strive to remain fair and consistent”
The buy in for both races for Vendor & Buyer will remain the same at R7,500.
The 2014 Lanzerac Ready to Run Sale will be conducted at Durbanville Racecourse with gallops on the 2nd October from 9:00am and the sale commencing on Saturday the 4th and concluding on Sunday the 5th October.
The inaugural CTS Johannesburg Ready To Run sale will be conducted on the 31st October at the Inanda Club in Sandton with gallops to be held on Monday 13th October at Turffontein Racecourse and Friday 17th October at Summerhill Stud.

well saw the so called gallop and this is not ready to run at all.....they will be lucky to give it away.....I just hate it when they get the right genetic formula by absolute fluke....then totally rush the preps to get them qualified for restricted big money races...... and by the looks of it if it does not go back to a farm to chill out and mature it may never win a race.... .

I'm not there .....have to rely on the shaky green cameraman that is worse than some of the horses he/she tried to keep in the frame....and where did they get some of these riders they make some horses look like Shetland ponies....piss poor showing for those not there....the course looks gr8 so no excuse for horses to run like rocking chairs....too much in a rush to prep horses in time....even the goodies will have stinted potential....
