Can anyone explain that in the event of the track still being too wet for Saturday racing why they cannot shift it to Sunday ?

I was discussing this with a friend yesterday. Saturday and Sunday are expected to be scorchers (compared to the weather we have been having) i think 25 or 26 degrees over the weekend. If too wet for Saturday, i hope they move to Sunday as im sure it will be fine

(LOL), they should move the meeting to Sunday so all the runners in race 3 can start on Saturday to have an equal chance of beating Seize The Throne a day later

IMO, race 4, as long as Shea doesn't butcher the ride like Domeyer did lto, it should also come home lonely.

Already shortened to 19/10. Got double at 46/10. Now the patience game...

I think Snaith & Neisius can pull off a double on the card :-

R3) Seize The Throne X (R8) Cat And The Moon.

Seize The Throne made a more than respectable debut over 1400m (when running on strongly) and you've got to feel with natural improvement he will have come on from that run. The biggest danger may well be Triptothestars, as he did finish 1.50 lengths ahead of Castle, whereas Seize The Throne only beat Castle by 0.50 of a length. Having said that, Triptothestars has had 4 runs under his belt, this is Seize The Throne's second outing. I just feel Seize The Throne may prove the more forward of the two at this stage of their careers.

Cat And The Moon won a really smart race last time out in open company where she was horribly out at the weights coupled with a bad draw. Whilst the form of that race is not particularly strong, it was a win full of merit. A good draw today could she her complete the hat-trick, it is a MR 68 after all, and she does look the most progressive amongst an average lot.

Off to a team building exercise at 7.00, won't be contributing to the discussion throughout the day, hopefully the Clan find the winners and make loads of cash.
