SCOTIA ON APRIL THE 9TH

Good morning to the CLAN and sorry to the Arsenal fans.

Scotia does not always watch the soccer, but I am glad I watched last nights "cracker", and well done to the Liverpool fans and sorry to the Arsenal army, you did have a "couple" of incidents over the 2 games that could have had a different outcome, but life goes on, "so come out the bathroom, stop crying Georgie, the game is over".

So where do we go from here? Man unt 2/1, Chelsea 33/10 and Pool and Barca 4/1, difficult call?

Just want to say well done to the team at the big T yesterday, power cuts were again the order of the day, but no disruptions to the race meeting and plenty of hotties for scottie.

In addition have bought a couple of picnic stands for the Fun Day, I am going for a Portuguese/Scottish theme this year with pregos and drambuie on draft, should be a great day and will be thinking of Debbie and her staff for all the work going on behind the scenes for what could be called a logistical challenge?
when we are all having fun in the sun!

I enjoyed watching the sales and all the best to the buyers, I had my eye on one lot but was out bidded, it went for R329,000 but the good news is that I still have the 9 grand, I planned to spend in my pocket!
My master plan now! is "the one that got away plan"?
What I do is pretend that I bought the "horse of my dreams" and I put R5k a month aside to pay for the food and training and when it runs? say 7 months down the line, I go to the races with R35k in my pocket with the option of having a punt, try it, its a great feeling of power you will love it, thank me later.

Racing today is from Arlington, and I see the CLAN are already trying to find some winners, plus racing today from Bath, where Sugar Mint is the best and over the jumps at Ludlow "Front of House" yes its running in the UK hehe! and Dancing Dasi at Towchester can make it a nice treble?

Good punting and may your God be with you.

Very nice idea on the lot you missed - going to try something similar by picking ten two-year-olds and backing them until they end the classic season - so far mostly Laird, (Both Alec and Charles) and Matchett runners but the list will grow - i'll own ten and never pay a cents keep!!
