Must be a terrible feeling...while it lasts Trapped In Ice
Seems to be weighted to finish ahead of Matador In Red who in turn holds Friendly Tibbs ,Shishangeni Golden Dane and Greys Inn Control. The latter has changed hands and is with V Marshall
So with an experienced Teetan up must be expected to land the spoils

Colours, without wanting to appear confrontational (so early in the morning), how do you arrive at the conclusion that Matador in Red has Golden Dane well held? Surely on the run of the 24/06, at the weight turn around, GD must have a strong chance of reversing the placings with MIR? I do hold the view that MIR can't win the race, but then again, I have been wrong many times. Just curious on this point, because if what you say is correct, then I've looked at the race horribly wrong.
Getting back to Trapped In Ice, do you not think it's a big jump up in class for a one time winner?

I agree Bayern I fail to see how any one time winner can beat horses that have won 3 or 4 races

Trapped In Ice should be a lot bigger in the betting, 7/2 is too short in my view - unless it has improved out of sight, and the bookies are aware of this, still don't believe he is the likely winner though.

COLD AS ICE - Experience beat her last time - that race was quick and the winner of that race is no slouch - I think READY TO ROCK will be her main threat
CANADIAN DOLLAR
CAPTAIN ROMANOV
RATATOUILLE worth a small strike at 5-1
MATADOR IN RED
IN REM - will enjoy the extra and the allowance won't hurt - maybe a medium place bet
KIND LADY - go close
LOLA BUD - the old girl is always a trier and if they go fast, which the should, she could easily run into the placings - My place bet on the card at 233/100 first 4

if they ran at level weights 3 lenghts would have been the winning margin.Golden Dane has a 3,5 kg advantage today. Now im no MR/Weight fundi but my formula which has kept me in good stead suggests that Matador In Red will keep GD at bay by 1.25 lenghts.
Matador and Trapped In Ice met on the 11-09 ,course and distance, and the margin there if you equate was 2,50 l.They meet today with Trapped In Ice getting a 3,75 headstart.

Matari in the 1st is well bred @ 40/1
Running Back in race2 has 1draw and may enjoy the extra 200 @ 16/1
