Hi guys with them not really winning from behind recently I'm going to be looking for horses with good gate speed as well as those who generally enjoy being at worst handy.

The first I have a lot of respect for Lerena on the first timer and he may well get an early double. Biggest danger for me is Jimmie Jagga regardless of the fact that Wild thing holds him on the last run.

R2 I like England's call that LG's runner could make huge improvement and thus will be taking swingers and exactas with unparalleled.

R3 all of the fancied runners seem to be drawn wide, for that reason I like Daggons Hall e/w today as he's drawn well and likes to race handy, he may well have needed his last run when making stable debut and wasn't disgraced first time on the sand tiring badly late, I believe from the draw and if he comes on with the run can be in the firing line.

R4 I fancy lady of Kildare due to the above mentioned criteria.

R5 Vulcan a good place bet due to again above mentioned criteria. Although I do like Samogan at the weights.

R6 one of my nicer outsiders of the day, I think Ermine street will go to the front and I'm hoping he can last.

R7 Tell my star and Tacit tiger to potentially improve, swingers and exactas.

R8 if you look past Rheims it's wide open, all of Facebook, all the bids, Mexican glory, admiral cod (if it wasn't for the draw) and impeccable. Seems a nightmare of a race where I'd load up and probably watch the favorite win anyway.

Good luck chaps.

In race 6 ive gone with Ermine Street.
He won a good maiden here and ran on well when dropped out last time.
He ll be in contention in this small field.

Vaal 14th August 2014 Quick Selections... Despite short priced favourites, some "value" bets for me,

Race 1 : Jimmi Jagga X Wild Thing {Favourite well bred, good stable and nice jockey booking, consider... 12/10 a fairly short price but breeding suggests he could win}

Race 2 : Unparalleled X Tough Tiger {Read My Gesture for LG - plenty of betting support from 50's, personally can't have him as favourite far too strong for this field, even at 5/10 it's a great price}

Race 3 : Razzle My Tazzle X Forever a Friend

Race 4 : Lady of Kildare X Tzigane

Race 5 : Samogan X Brad's Surge {No specific order here, BS is better off at the weights (5.5 kg's) with Samogan but needs to find some 13 lengths, Samogan has been in great form of late and could repeat today however I worry about the Jockey booking on Samogan and we could get another exotic bomb out with Striker aboard - Not implying anything against Striker for he's followers, just cautious after some very unusual riding a few days ago at the VAAL}

Race 6 : Where's my Chop {banker in all bets}

Race 7 : All Jammed Up X Go Dutch {AJU lightly raced and holding form nicely, stable companion to the favourite who will once again bomb the exotics}

Race 8 : Facebook {For the Facebook fans} Stable/Jockey combination to open and close the meeting...

Good luck to all and those with runners I wish you all the best for today!!!
