Had £4.20 left in my account and stuck it all on MIESQUESROK @ 12/1 so hopefully over £50 to come back.

WD Winning Post
Surely we can't miss the P6 in the last...
Banker 5 in the last for 12% total spend = R808.00 possible return R38k. Will end off a great day. Actually total spend was 1108.00 cause I took a P6 with Hollywood for 300.00 but that's out.
I might be wrong but NOT in the Touching base camp for the winner... But goodluck...went wife This leg...

Top 6 in the ratings ran the R25k Quartet Bob...and only tool 2,1,11,19 in the P6 ( due to Odendaal 6% only wins Nutterjack)
rest goes 4-1-10(5,3,9,2,7,12,6) x 9-7-11(1,12,3) x 6-1-3-2 x 6-2-5-1-8 x 2-7-10-4-11-6-5-12-8-15-3...think P6 Will get close so holding thumbs
KABOOM R1,053MILLION P6 for R58 k :woohoo: :woohoo:

LL, well done on pick 6 tipping. I have an owner who put it this way. He loves his racing and golf. He writes off the cost of his golf (he plays 3x a week at least)as it costs him around R10000 a month with fees, traveling, food ,drinks, accommodation, caddie etc. With his horses he writes off the original cost and his training fees and this way he can really enjoy both his hobbies. He is not in either to make money but if he can get something back it is a bonus and he is thrilled. If anyone comes into the game just to make money he is going to be disappointed. It does happen, but in general it is your hobby and passion which will cost money. With punting your own horses it does cloud your judgement in the way you look at a race. If a horse runs a shorthead 2nd and you have had say R5000+ on it, then you are disappointed but without the money on you think it is a great run and will go and celebrate. It all depends on the owner. This is the reason I very seldom have a straight bet and normally stick to the pa's etc. the Passmore's were very good with punting and they said to me that if you want to make money punting you must choose and punt a good horse in the maidens and only down the straight. Too many variables around the turn.
