Pick 6 rules

Hi all
Can someone please clarify a few things regarding the Pick 6

> When one who can of my selections in a leg is scratched and the favourite wins, what does this mean? Am I still in the running?

> What are the reasons for a double up in the dividend?

Thanks

If your horse is scratched the tote favourite substitutes
If you have both you double up
If a 1st timer wins, the 1st raced horse qualifies
If you have both you double up

pssst!!! If you double up take the money and run!

So, if in a leg I have 2 selections (Horse 1 & Horse 2) and horse 1 scratches, I will still be in the running if the Tote favourite wins and I'll double up if that Tote favourite was actually Horse 2?

What do you mean by 1st timer and 1st raced?

Thanks
I'm a newbie so you'll have to bear with me :)

Hi Kenilworth first timer wud mean horse that has not raced at all be it sand or turf and 1st raced refers to if a first timer wins the next horse that has raced before finishes behind it will qualify for the pic 6 so an example wud b if horse no 1 is a first timer wins and horse no 2 is also a first timer runs second and the 3rd horse has raced before it will qualify for the pic 6.If u want to cut costs on ur pic 6 just put in all the raced runners but u will soon get the hang of it the key in playing exotics is structuring ur bets that's where to take a chance and go short .Gud luck .
