"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon' Thursday 3rd April Workings...

Afternoon.

As you know guys, I broke down in my car early in the afternoon and had to wait to be picked up etc etc and missed the racing today (and didn't it cost me..grrr!!). Anyhow, several guys have kindly let me know how they got on, who play the strategies, plus traders, and so although in basic terms, I can at least give you the results for your records...

This afternoon completed, and went as follows.....

The 1st runner we wanted 2.32, and the price was only ever higher, so a no bet race. The runner was beaten, so 'one that got away in hindsight'.......

The 2nd runner we wanted 3.2, and with the price always being higher it was another race to avoid. The runner went and won, so a nice priced winner, but more importantly a good leave.........

The 3rd runner we wanted 1.6, and with getting that and slightly shorter,we had a lay at 1.6 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result.......

The 4th runner we wanted 1.6, and with getting that price and slightly shorter, we had a lay at 1.6 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result........

The 5th runner we wanted 2.4, but we never see our lay price and so a race to avoid. The runner was beaten......

The 6th runner we wanted 2.5, and we got that, so had a lay at 2.5 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result.....

The 7th runner we wanted 2.1, but we never see our lay price, so a race to avoid. The runner won, so a good leave........

The 8th runner we wanted 3.3, and with getting that and slightly shorter we had a lay at 3.3 max. The lay was beaten, so a good result......

The 9th runner we wanted 2.8, but we never see our lay price and so a race to avoid. The runner was beaten........

The 10th runner we wanted 2.7, but we never see our lay price and so a race to avoid. The runner was beaten.......

The 11th runner we wanted 2.6, but with never seeing our lay price, it was a race to avoid. The runner was beaten........

The 12th runner was a non runner

The 13th runner we wanted 3.3, and with getting that and shorter, we had a lay. The lay went and won, so the way it goes, but only traders playing now and they easily got their trade back prices, so got away with it..........

The 14th and final runner we wanted 2.32, and with getting quite a bit shorter, we had a lay at 2.32 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result...............

WELL PLAYED.....

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) won 3 targets..............They started their 1st strategy/target on the 3rd runner, and hit on that runner...........They then started their 2nd strategy/target on the 4th runner, and hit on that runner...........They then started their 3rd strategy/target on the 6th runner, and hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 8th runner)...........Then with running out of enough potential lays left to start another, they ended the session winning 3 targets, so well played guys.........

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 3rd runner) at 1.6 max, and a good result see them hit their targets......

Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100

1st lay £100 to win the £100 target @ 1.6 max. Result positive. Win £100

Total bank now £500

Traders either won, or broke level on all their trades, so well played guys and a good days work...

So what a day to miss the racing sitting in a car awaiting the AA ...Anyhow, pleased to see it was a good one guys with builders hitting and walking after one lay, and rollers having a filed day with hitting 3 targets... Well played and speak in the morning....

That's what we have to work around for this afternoon then. A mixture of codes, make ups, and degrees of toughness, so enough to keep us on our toes, but we do have enough within our armoury overall to go into battle, so that's what we'll do. Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon with this evening's workings..
