Does anyone use multi-ticket perm software?

If so - is it successful?

Which product is best?

IMO, you don't really need the software (makes it easier though) - but common sense works as well :S

Colins, I used to use John Sweets Pick Six Genie but upgraded my O/S and Office and it stopped working and as I was not playing much, did not pursue it.

The GOOD news is John has promised to help me get mine up and running again and hence this weekends P6 permutation/s will be using his software to maximise combinations and percentages.

have a look here .....

Do the bookies websites not work the perms out for you ? Or am I missing the plot ?

You both missing the plot. With multi-perm software it works so. A flat perm of 6 legs of 5 selections will cost you R15650. But if you using the software you can reduce costs (or increase %) by choosing to use 'fixed' or 'floating' bankers.
Like we will probably do on Saturday to make the combined entries affordable.

Floating bankers: Say out of the six legs I take each horse (per leg) with the most selections and we call that our 'fixed bankers'. Then I decide my risk appetite. How many of these MUST win for us to catch the P6? Because we have Beach Beauty as a likely winner wetake TWO fixed bankers.
What this means is that provided we have all six leg winners in the competition entries AND ANY TWO of our fixed leg bankers win, we get the P6 at a reduced cost by playing multiple perms around these bankers.

The software works out the perms and you just state how much you want to spend and it calculates how much per permutation.

People using Loopy's Logicfinvalue would benefit from this.

An example: Today I made out the following permutation for R44 800.00 full. The following is my straight line P6...in other words my BANKERS or main fancies in each leg: 9 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 1 x 9

The full perm is 2,3,7,9 x Field x 1,2,3,5,6,7,8,9 x 1,2,5,7,8,10,11 x 1,2,3,4,10 x 3,4,5,6,9 .....

I chose to take TWO FLOATING bankers ...which implies if I have all the winners in my R44.8K perm AND ANY two of my first choices (in bold) win.... I get 2% of the P6 for an outlay of R256 instead of R892.00

The software throws out 16 perms... so is a bit of work to set up and fill in forms, but what the hell... a double JWB and a pen....{shrug}
