If I was Mr Gerber I would patch up what ever lead to moving horses from Prinsloo and get them back ASAP

I think it is more a case of him being offered a "deal he couldn't refuse" to move the horses as oppose to any bad experience with Tienie, sometimes paying less leads to ultimately paying more...time will tell
