Hollywood - Can a Bookmaker reduce the odds of a bet after the event has taken place

I placed a bet at Hollywood yesterday on the soccer game between Brazil and Cameroon. I placed 8 bets .

On Sunday I placed
over 2,5 goals 220/200
Over 3.5 goals 245/100
Over 4,5 goals 356.25/75

On Monday, the odds changed and I placed the following
Over 2,5 goals R 400/400
Over 3,5 goals R 430/200
Over 4,5 Goals R 531.25/125

The odds shorted on monday . I called the hollywood hotline and asked them why my bet is not paid. The person told me that they are reducing the odds on the bet AFTER THE BET WAS PLACED, SOCCER GAME ENDED and I was not informed . He told me that Hollywood can do that . As a PUNTER are you aware of this.

Can Hollywood reduce your odds after the game has taken place ( odds was changed the following day )
I always have this problem with hollywood . My question is all the horses that run in the July and odds are reduced on the race day, can Hollywood reduce their odds as well.

Should my bet be paid in full or can Hollywood reduce the odds after the event ???????????

They can amend the odds if its a genuine mistake on their part according to their terms and conditions even after the game has been played.Your wager seems like the price shorten therefore they should have not revised your bets.

Guys, I have a similar problem. My bet still not resulted from last night on the +2.5. it did seem good value at 11/10 the over 2.5 goals. There is a caption on the bet that says (do not result). At work can't call dev

Naresh .

The odds were

Under 2.5 goals 7/10 and over 2.5 goals 11/10
Brazil already qualified for the next stage .

I think the correct odds were given . Total goals are goals from Brazil and Cameroon . Score was 4-1 . so Its 5 goals in the game. This is not the first time I had a problem with my winning bets. As a punter theres nothing we can do.

The team has not paid out any bets on this market. It is currently under investigation as there seems to have been an error with the pricing. I am not entirely sure what transpired, but I have asked the team to contact you Ashan. I am hoping to get more info soon.

I called the hollywood helpdesk and that guy told me that the odds were incorrect and they reducing the odds after the event took place. If the odds change over 24 hours for a bet. And the incorrect odds was given . 2 times in a row the bet was incorrectly priced.

Fly Dubai we should get paid the full bet payout

Once again my concern with customer service. Normal company - I can't deliver your goods you paid up front for, I call you and tell you/mail you there's a problem. Don't just wait for me to call and ask why I am not getting my 'goods'. Saves much agro. (Hey know there's a problem, that they are not paying, let your customers know. ?

How can incorrect odds be given when the market was

Under 2,5 goals around 7/10
and over 2,5 goals 1/1 and 11/10 .

It seems fair. If there was under 2,5 goals in the game, and the incorrect odds given , will Hollywood increase the price and pay more to the public if the score was Brazil 2 Cameroon 0. I dont think so .
Last week I placed a cricket bet , on the cricket . No hundred to be scored in the India and bangladesh game. The was rain during the second inning and there was no hundred during the game. I got a refund because the overs were reduced.

As a punter do we know all the rules and laws a book maker has.

I place the bet , event finished , I should get paid my bet.

Nothing vindictive to Hollywood but this kind of thing I would point out to tge gambling board. Is a case of eat your cake and have it.

If the odds were 12/1 as opposed to 12/10 it is an obvious, mistake, but 12/10 vs say evens???? How many times have you paid for an item at the supermarket where the shelf price is lower than should be and you are given the lower price. The supermarkets SUCK UP THEIR MISTAKES.

Absolutely unconscionable to do what is alleged on this thread no matter what HB say.
