Okay, so evidently it looks like I called it wrong. Lots of trainers and jockeys gonna sign up......brilliant it will be just like the annual horse racing awards....all the China's together on here and the punter marginalised and bullied out because he is now known and cannot have an opinion because he has never ridden a horse nor trained one.....

Mark my words this is a poor decision....there are many posters on here ( excluding myself) that are a valuable thorn in the side of the " inner circle"

Whilst I agree personal attacks are out of order I really and truly fail to see how saying someone is
1: a useless trainer
2: a useless jockey
3: a useless official
4: a useless horse

Is offensive or libelist....

I know that an armchair racing enthusiast was just that 20 years ago but today I feel that there are many people out there that have valid points of view and have never been in a race......gonna be a rocky ride

Regarding pseudonyms ... as a woman can I put in a plea that they be kept as an option?

My (limited) experience has been that it's safest for women to not to put their real names out there. Scotia and Hibs know who I really am, I'm not denying that the admin should know who's posting. Just the general public.

What do the guys on this forum think?

Txs Mav everything is being taken into consideration we will not have a knee jerk reaction but at the end of the day we will make a call that we believe is the best for the future of the site.
It's a lot of time, effort and a fair amount of money so just bear with us ;)

There are some that post from there private devices under pseudonyms as it against company policy to use the internet during office hours, you are willing to loose these regulars in order to get one jockey, 2 trainers and the RA chair posting on ABC.... why try fix what isnt broken...:S

Hoping that won't happen Greg
