Mickelson. Loves course and apparently set up for someone who is a wizard with a wedge. in any case should be 7th time lucky after 6 Runner up efforts

Tough course with lightning fast greens. Even Par 280 will go close to winning. Retief had a 3 shot lead going into the last round the last time it was played at Pinehurst No.2 and shot an 11 over 81 in the final round. Need nerves of steel and a great short game.

I am going for Hendrik Stenson, his cool head will be able to conquer the field. Phil Mickelson also plays well at the course and wouldn't be surpised to see Martin Kaymer be right up there too. Dutching the 3 for wins, top 6 and top 10 finishes.

Not really a golf fundi, but if a great short game is what is needed to win, I have to agree that Mickelson should be the man (tu)

Wonder how many birdies are going to be made on the 16th a 528 yard par 4 monster. Makes the road hole look easy. ::o
