Warren Lenferno in the IOL papers is not bad. He tipped Double Clutch at 33s. He certainly is in the know.

Was in the Racegoer speed ratings that day and I also took it...helped boost the kitty...
...great story about that horse...more valuable than any bet taken...

Lyall in Gauteng is quite good.
Gareth tries very hard to get as much information to the public which is great
Ally is also sharp
Rod should have retired.
Molly is OK, but others prefered.
Paul Lafferty should give this job up. If the horse is not in the betting, he would not know it is in the race
But the supreme Champ was none other than 2 Cents

In terms of value for money tips and relative consistency over an extended period, I'd go with Mr H.
Frodo, Bayern, NeilP, Shrek , Craig1974, Englander, Pirates and others not far behind.
I enjoyed listening to Darryl Maree when he was on USO or as a presenter.
Lots of contributions from a variety of clanners so keep posting everyone.

Spot on. I agree with all the names you mentioned but Mr H is Mr Consistency especially with his place bets.

I think Garreth p tries very hard, always gets coments, not afraid to tip long shots, and always questions winning trainer and jockey about their later chances, and when they reply all has chances then he asks then about certain horses, he digs at it. Brings far to the punters then any other presenter.

Rowdy that must have been by mistake! Darryl Maree talks/writes a lot of sense and is very good.

The people who tip for the publications, they do okay, it is a difficult and thankless job. The television presenters, some do have an advantage in that they speak to the trainers.
I prefer to read the views on ABC, in that, the posters have tried to interpret the information from whatever publication they using, most times with little or no stable information, we all know how subjective gambling on horses is, sometimes leads to heated debates.
Kudos to all who contribute, especially to those who do so almost every race meeting.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
