It’s all systems go!!

Gold Circle will stage four trial races on the new Polytrack surface on Tuesday evening, 3 June 2014, with the first race going off at 16:45 and thereafter at 25 minute intervals.

"Although no betting will be permitted on these races, they will be conducted under full raceday conditions and will be covered live by Tellytrack", said Gold Circle's Racing and Marketing Executive Graeme Hawkins. "That said, all are most welcome to attend the trials and full bar facilities will be available", he added.

A total of 101 entries have been received for the four races, which will be run over distances from 1200m to 1600m, and declarations fall due on Monday 2 June at 11:00. Punters attending the trials will be provided with details of the runners and riders on arrival at Greyville.

The first official race meeting on the Polytrack is due to take place on Wednesday afternoon, 11 June 2014.

I didn't read the whole notice .....................it looks like fields will only be announced on course!!!!!!

Rob i just checked on sa horseracing site and the noms appear there . The fields should be up there after declerations i would imagine !

Scratchings at 11am on Monday. Fields are just for interest's sake as no betting is taking place. Sure they will just be on a hand out and as Soltrama says on sahorseracing.co.za from early Monday pm.

I expect the Vet will examine all post race thoroughly and then the same after race just to allay any saftey fears like we have/have not had in PE - I'm all for these types of tracks if they aid the welfare of the hore
