One bet for me today but have to wait for the 9th race. Step it Up, claimed already and I am sure Barend has this one tuned up to the minute. Drawn nicely in the middle so can opt to go inside or outside depending on the better going. Dropped a nett 3 points from her last turf run and looks speedy and could get away from them. Even at 7/2 I see decent value about this one and wouldn't be surprised to see her start much shorter. Buffalo Dance will be an interesting runner as this is her first run on turf and could be anything but very happy to stick with Step It Up. (tu)

ANYDAY ANYTIME has a decent win chance, my only play for the day.

Got some nice form.

My real place roughie is Thorneywood Chase who was around 10 to 1 a place. Likes this course and nor far behind Lucky Mojo a few runs back.

When was Vancover Gold Claimed?

Celine - prefers 1200m, but working well at home. Watch betting no.12, rumoured to"fly".
Read My Gesture - back from virus, big horse who may still need run, better than form of first run.
Niebelung - we have absolutely no explanation for his poor last run. Working exceptionally well at home.
Miss K - very well, first run on firm going. Will win if she handles the going.
One Mans Dream - working well, loves course and distance, but favourite looks hard to oppose.
American Pie - rested, working well but will probably need it a bit
Societi - should win.
