I was shocked to see the majority of voters looked over 25 to me so I wonder if the youngsters don't care?

All over the world the guys under 25 don't bother expect in Australia where it is law to vote and if you don't you get whacked with a big fine, no matter where in the world you are. UK general election has about a 32% turnout

I was a child of the revolution and was eligible to vote from 1987 - In that time I only missed voting once - The youngsters should realize that five years down the line not voting might just come back to haunt them - Perhaps they don't understand how South Africa has changed and how important it is to keep the ANC on it's toes as those that can remember the riots, bombs etc of the 80's and 90's know. If the people are not looked after that cycle can happen again but this time without any racial connotations.

I like the Australian law. I wonder why all countries don't adopt it:S
