Racehorse trainers UK - rehoming TBs

I am considering moving to the UK in the new year, probably the Essex area.
I am looking at getting a horse off the track to reschool for jumping and general riding. Therefore I'm looking for a sound, clean gelding, 16hh+, 3 years and older. Pedigree not too much of an issue, just a good temperament.

I know a number of visitors to this forum are currently in the UK - just wondering if they can point me in the area of which trainers to approach, mainly in the Newmarket area, or nearer to Essex. Or how else I can go about this. Or maybe some of the posters even have a horse that may reach the end of its career in the foreseeable future.
Good, knowledgable home offered.

Many thanks

Will do thanks. I think there are 3 or so rehoming centres.

Wish there was enough funding to open one of these in South Africa (I found out a levy is paid by every racehorse owner in the UK to fund these centres!)

I have approached a number of trainers in the Essex / Suffolk area and most have been very helpful. Just wondering if anyone has had personal experiences with any trainers

Many thanks
