The race 1 objection is a case in point why the integrity of racing is questioned / in tatters...the 1 horse tired and ducked out and interfered with the 3 and 5...the rules state that but for the interference, interfered horse would have beaten interfering horse...this is a subjective assessment and to a lay person, difficult to understand as there is no consequence for the (obvious) wrong-doing...

And too often, objections are determined by who (owner, jockey, trainer) is involved rather than solely the merits of the scenario presented...

And please note that I did not have a cent on the race so I'm not talking from my pocket...
