Flaunt is Smanga not stable jockey? Think looking at other races for The hangman. I see Cagiva shortened from 2/1-1/1. Must have been stable select and I am told that Pierre did have the choice. Anyway well done, you got lucky!

PS has always said "Sean put me on the horse" Tarry picks the jocks I'm sure.

Mr H, have heard him say that as well. Just heard from my sources that Cagiva was Pierre's choice and that is why it shortened and the other drifted. Pierre had ridden Halve the deficit to 2 wins and a second in his last 3 starts and Cagiva to 2 wins so I am sure Sean would have discussed it with Pierre. Possibly not but that is where my money would be.

I did not see the Racing Express - I wonder what if anything PS said about his ride in this race - that might be the answer

We battle to get the Citizen down here. It has the best coverage of racing of any paper I have seen here.

Sorry Craig , had nothing to do with luck ! I try win at the game , don't really play for fun. Have realized over the years to cast your net as wide as possible in terms of network etc. it's the little things that the average punter does not hear about that make the difference between winning and not.

I know on good authority that Striker was very confident of winning - so just shows you they cant be right all the time

You also questioned me a while back when I posted what I fancied. Giving me the 20 questions crap, maybe in future read and let the race run and then comment.we are all fools in this game.

Flaunt, you obviously knew something the stable and Pierre did not, otherwise Cagiva would have drifted from 2's out and not in to evens and HTD would have shortened and not drifted as it did and Pierre would have been up. Good luck to you. This is the way I read it and I also heard the same as BY001. It makes absolutely no difference to me and I did not even watch the race. Just looking at it from an insiders point of view.

Craig with all due respect now often does this happen ???? I see it happening all the time. Especially from a punting stable.
