I'm trying to figure out why the Hannon stable are persisting with Filosofo in the second at Lingfield, on first glance the form is terrible but then look a bit further at how many winners have come from the Snow Trouble formline even the horse that finished behind Filosofo on this formline has won.... Maybe they looking for improvement on the polytrack at Lingfied ... 40-1 worth a small eway imo.

Gosdens fancied for this over the extra distance but just fancy that Classic Devotion (slow away and very green on debut) with Barzalona up might be a different proposition now.
Will be watching 2.55 for any support on Moores MOUNT ISLA. Won the corresponding race last year with Liam Jones riding (horse well supported in betting) and had 3 entries in race this time ( I may be wrong but I believe one of the original entries is down to run in France 11.45).
Only other interest here for me is Valmina 4.05

same race Don Sigfredo half brother is a useful campaigner, watch the betting on both...

R1- Calipto, unlucky last time when saddle slipped. 2 others that interest me, Clarcam that was travelling well last time out when it fell 2 out from home and an interesting entry at long odds, Rhamnus making it's jump debut. Ex Hannon horse that started at fav in a listed event and now with the inform stable of Ben Pauling who is no slouch. Don't think he would enter the horse to make up the numbers.
R2- Dynaste looks the right one. All the talk is about the top 3 in the betting, First Lieutenant won this race last year with Menorah less than a L behind and Silviniaco Conti 3rd. Menorah add good odds, likes this course with a win & 2 x 2nd's. Could be the 1 to give Dynaste a go.
R3- The New One. Unlucky in it's last 2 races. Came 2nd in this race last year as a novice.Classy horse. Diakali finished only 2L behind Jezki (Who also beat The New One) 2 runs back and could be the one if the fav fluff's it's lines
R4- Mossey Joe, a 'moerse' perd in a 'moerse' big field. 5 wins in a row and looks a worthy fav, but in a big field like this anything can happen. On handicap ratings alone, more than half the field can be discarded as being outclassed. Bruswick Gold's can place.
R5- Bullet Street. Not saying it can win, but with 1 win and 6 places from 10 runs and bottom weight and jockey claiming 7, hopefully can place
R6- Going with Fox Appeal. Should be fresh today as it did not run at Cheltenham. Was very impressed with it's 10L win @ Ascot in Dec. Oscar Whiskey's jumping often let's him down.
R7- Big Easy to place. Not seen over hurdles since it won same time last year. Same jockey and only 1 pound higher in a lesser grade race today.
enjoy.

That 4.05 (my fancy Valmira) attracting support for a couple of runners S.Dow with Hayley up - not not been amongst winners - and Muir - SECRET MISSILE . Last 2 runners with Dwyer up gave winner and 2nd. Same combo also have 1 in the intriguing 3rd race
