Please view the link below explaining where we will be retrieving the dividends from, and what adjustments will be made in order to match a South African R1 unit. We will only be offering select open bets on certain countries, and these are shown for each country in the link below. Please note there are also ticket limits on each bet type for each country, which is displayed at the bottom of the post.

Bet Types & Dividends offered on International Racing

Hi Dev, i don't see the swinger or quartet bet available on UK racing in your link, does this mean you will not be offering this bet type? I will be very disappointed as i like playing both those bet types frequently.

Thats awesome. In races with more than 20runners in the UK will you offer the UK tote Payouts.

Very innovative, let me just ask if eg Variety Club runs in Singapore mile, and it pays 7 dollars to one dollar ( on the singapore tote) you will match a SA bet of 1000 to win seven grand using an open bet principle ( or holding a local tote bet and giving the overseas tote price after the all clear)
even if the local tote is paying 7/10 ( to win 700/1000)

Might be an extreme example but I also guess there will be no surprises or anomalies in tote payouts as you are laying into well established markets with stable prices and less chance of cancelled bets or last minute changes.

Sounds good but sure we will get many comments and other questions ?

I see exotic bets like Jackpots and PA/Placepots will be offered as well ? Am I correct. If so Hollywood im super excited

Hi Smashley

We will not be offering these bet types on the UK. We found the pools weren't substantial enough to offer that bet type. When we do our analysis again we will relook at the bet types being offered.

Please check the link to see which countries we will offering Jackpots, PAs, etc. At the moment its just South Africa and Mauritius

I don't really see the swinger, quartet or place accumulator pools as being very low in the UK in my opinion but maybe you guys can review these bet types for the future.

Hi Dave

You said it yourself there. Betting into well established markets means that the prices will be more stable and less chance of manipulation. We will be paying the international dividend

Seems like a great idea. Very fair to punters, especially when South African horses run overseas.

Hopefully these rules are adhered to, even when South African horses pay far more on the totes of origin than our own tote.

Would be terrible if this began and then fine print or rule changes occurred limiting payouts on South African horses running overseas.
