Singapore Racing - our older horses

Thought it would be worthwhile mentioning how many of the horses racing in Singapore are able to do so with much success even at the ripe old age of 9! Earnings have been converted to Rands.

Just this weekend we saw many of our older horses winning:
Power and Glory - 7 years old 5 wins R1.6m
Ninth Avenue - 8 years old 10 wins Earned: R2.2m
Solid Wood - 8 years old 6 wins Earned: R2.1m
Collect the Cash - 7 years old 7 wins Earned: R2.9m
John of Arch - 9 years old 11 wins Earned: R4.3m

This can definitely be attributed to the wonderful conditions that the horses race in, in Singapore.

I for one will miss Singapore and Hong Kong racing if TT abandon overseas racing. Not really a betting proposition with our tiny local tote pools, but without a doubt the most entertaining and exciting viewing on DSTV, with the exception of Super Rugby.
