Seriously? Marcus has 2 wins and a second from his 3 rides in Dubai to date, and he was 10 wins and 3 seconds on Variety Club from 13 rides.
Peekay, I'll admit to having doubts about VC going futher, but personally I'd opt for the Gr1 Duty Free on turf over 1800m over the Gr2 Godolphin Mile on tapeta over 1600m. VC has only gone further than a mile once, in the Investec Cape Derby when he was second to Jackson. That was two years ago, so maybe now he can handle it.
Either way, he'll have to face either Soft Falling Rain or Vercingetorix, along with whatever the rest of the world throws at them. Going to be exciting races, no doubt. (tu)
