R8 - Silva Hawk, this horse could be better than rated and at 13/2 represents good value. Had valid excuses when beaten by Everest two runs back and appears to have trotted in last when winning it's maiden. See Strydom has stuck with one in all of it's runs which is not a bad thing. Hope they trying to qualify it for something later in the month.

Even if the sun shone all day I wondered if we would still race. But great ...

Race 4; Gold Rush Sprint; #3 TOMMY GUN; on a hattrick; won a small classy race last allbeit on sand; hot Chambers rides and hot Spies trains; current price of 3's is also very fair.

Race 5; Ruffian: #4 GEE I JANE; easy and impressive only start allbeit in Kimberley; hot Spies trains; don't be breaking the bank at 25's.

Race 6; Storm Bird; #2 BANAADEER; easy and impressive last Sat; Sporting Post;s Ability Ratings has him to win by 4; hot Delpech rides and hot de Kock trains; nap him

Race 7; Bauhinia; #7 WINTER PASSION; easy and impressive last two starts; on a hattrick; lightly raced; lots of value at 8's

Race 8; Egoli Mile: #4 RAAES; going for four in a row; all winning starts were easy and impressive; hot Delpech rides and hot de Kock trains; current price of 3.5's is very fair.

Race 9; Sun Chariot: #5 RODEO SIOUX; more than half the field is pish; beaten favourite last start; hot Delpech rides; almost a nap with 2.5's very very fair.
