I detest those shows .... But it is scary that they thrive because of viewership and that is even more worrying IMO !

Ten years ago there were +-5 "reality" TV shows in the US...now there are >300...and though they are advertised and sold as "reality", they are as well scripted as WWE...

It really has been a (slow/fast) death to the brain in terms of what is on TV nowadays...very little that stimulates critical thinking (maybe that is the plan... )...so, save for some sport, I stick to watching some kiddies programmes with my 6 year old...or reading as widely as I can...

after I opened the thread last night I had to sign off and thought this morning I will read some intelligent and meaningful posts
and what do I found? that someone hijacked the thread

I did read the comments on this thread though
and would like to state categorically the aim of the thread was to get comments on how people perceive the happenings in court and that was it
as I said in the thread this was never personal or meant to be a personal attack on OP
I see that some members says this forum is not for issues like that, if that is the case then we as "supposed to be adults" cant have a meaningful discussion about some thing that are going to be bigger than the OJ trail, that will be a sad day
shall we go and bury our heads in the sand like an ostrich and pretend that it is not happening?

So I hereby ask the clan members should we have at thread about THE TRAIL yes or no
and also ask if Hibs can remove any comments that can have legal ramifications ( what a word for a afrikaans boytjie )

I also do know that their are members on here who are very close to the whole thing and we are sorry about that , but the fact is the trail are going to happen and people are going to talk about it.

All I hope for that he gets a fair trail and what ever is going to happen the truth will come out and let the justice system go it's way

I agree 100% with the above all so enjoy all movies that has a trail theme, that stimulates thinking and I love to discuss legal issues

Thank heavens I have recently disconnected DSTV.
