Agree fully Len, they must decide before the meeting is to start or not at all. What happens if the do it after Race 5 and you have worked out your exotics per Turf for and some of your selections don't perform as well on the Poly. :S

Mornin guys comments are an eye opener to me.
I would like to know from the powers that be WHO represented PUNTERS interests when changing surfaces on Friday
Furthermore with the first horse winning in my Yankee Do I get paid for it or is it a total REFUND n I'm still fuming

Shrek the p/a and pick 6 had already started , so my banker in the last leg on poly was drawn 16 out 16 Sham racing had to scratch.. not moaning but stating challenges that were not their before ..[.change of venue in middle of meeting.]

There is absolutely no logic,in the principle ,of having different rules for bookmaker and tote bets...............the tote just don't want to refund take outs!!

If there is any danger the meeting will be disrupted, which was very obvious last Friday,they should move to Polytrack timeously ie. in the morning!..................what happened on Friday was dumb...............different if it had been a flash flood or the like!

"Mutatis mutandis", gee I like the sound of those words. Haven't a clue what it means nor am I interested

The other bet was with Betxchange

Len what about those people that took there quartets, trifecta's etc early on the tote, were they refunded when the meeting changed to the poly??
