Morning from Kimberley,

As Bob said they are all safely here and settled. Had a nice walk after breakfast to have a look around....

Hoping to give The Clan a nice double today .....and we didn't come just to look at the scenery !!

Former trainer David Barker, who trained Sierra Vista and Celtic Mill has died at the age of 44.
Barker, who built a reputation as a brilliant handler of sprinters, trained Celtic Mill to win the 2005 Temple Stakes and followed-up in the same Group 2 contest with Sierra Vista in 2007.

He was diagnosed with cancer in 2009, aged 40, and quit training to focus on his fight against the illness.

However, he remained involved with racing as an owner and saw his colours carried to victory 17 times in the last four seasons.

I didn't want to start a new thread as he probably isn't well known in SA.He was a lovely guy, rest in peace David.
