track was running a bit funny today but it can be a few factors

1) track was watered 8mm daily this week , on sunday 16mm , this morning 8mm and they watered the track before each race today exept for the last 3 races.
the 2 previous meetings was not the same either....think the new trackmsnager Donald still learning the do's and donts of the track and building experience
2) wind was blowimg today , some races it was a crosswind and others strong tailwind and others no wind
3) never ever easy for a horse or 90% of horses to adapt from a poly/turf track that is very horse friendly to a tougher sand track especially first time on the sand
4) weather, was not nearly as warm and dry air as usual today
5) some horses work like soupmeat but run like champs in races....my horses just didnt do that ...ever

and leon lotz were spot on a while bacl in an interview
