RACE 1 : HOLLYWOOD SUNSET * COTTON CANDY

RACE 2 : AMARILLO STARLIGHT (You'd have to be a nutter to back this one @ 5/10, WHY?? Because she ran in a Class B 3.85 lengths behind ARRIA. If you really have to have a bet take a small Eachway on BLAST.

RACE 3 : DUKE OF DESTINY (I like the way he finished his last two runs and with an Okay'ish draw should go close). O JALLAD the other contender here with Fourie aboard, been unlucky with the going as he doesn't enjoy the softer footing so should go very close with a good draw today.

RACE 4 : IVANKA having her 3rd run after a rest, has the number 1 jockey in FAIRVIEW at the moment aboard (L. Mxothwa) and I think she'll be a banker for me on the day. No disrespect to LADY SILVIA which has obvious chances but she is a 3 YO and has never been over 1400m.

RACE 5 : LIFT OFF almost another banker for me today, we know she gets the trip and has been contesting against some decent sorts like VOL DE NUIT and ZACHARIAS up at Kenilworth. WINTER FANTASY is another I'll be including as her Course record is phenomenal, winning 75% of her races here. I think she's value here @ 9/2 and distance should not even factor as she won over 1300m albeit the weight turnaround with her deadheat companion ARROW HEART.

RACE 6 : Tough race because so many with chances. Like HOUSE OF WAX (Recent form is great and he seems to get on great with Zechner as you can see on that last finish, 23 seconds 400m - finish is a powerful finish, drawn quite well today but no doubt he'll be mowing them down the last 400m. JET BURST another runner who has been running against some decent sorts and has 2.50 kg's in his favor against HOW. BONNARD will need the run based on his form (If he doesn't need the run IT'S RACE OVER!!!). GREYSTONE will have it all to do IMO. CASEY NOVAK, well 3rd run after a rest and on form must have a BIG BIG chance but we all know how stubborn he is. If and a "BiG iF" he jumps on terms and behaves I believe he will be very hard to beat. Will not be taking bets straight up but will be including in the exotics.

RACE 7 : LITE APPROVAL (Race over as explained earlier - refer to run on the 20th December 2013, low mass, speed rating and a good draw today definitely worth a decent bet at those odds)

RACE 8 : GUIDED ARROW, 3rd run after a rest and back to the 1000m (Her best trip). No disrespect to the last run by Ramsamy but it was a poor ride IMHO. Get's the services of Herholdt today with a good mass and I think she will win. Doubles with HOUSE OF WAX and LITE APPROVAL for me at decent odds (tu)

RACE 9 : STARS AND STRIPES purely on the fact that he was geared down in both his previous wins and they were super impressive. I know he meets a few worse off at the weights i.e. BENEDICT (2 kg's better off) but that won't factor as he was geared down previously so there should be more to come in the last 50m or so.
