Interbet REALLY needs to have a look at its systems. There has been far too much underperformance lately.
On Saturday (Met day) it slowed down to a c-r-a-w-l under the load.
Straight after the Met it was back to 'normal' speed. Go figure.
Today - Wednesday - it has fallen in a hole again.
Don't expect to hold onto customers if this is the 'service' on offer.

They need backup servers. www.interbet2/3/4 etc. Otherwise just a question of time till Garrick sets up his own trading site. :)

Lol. I was having a really good afternoon. Looking at it optimistically they maybe did me a favour before I gave it back!
Thank goodness for 324 race meetings per day..........

might be the specs on the server hardware and bandwidth issues - need to increase bandwidth so the system does not "slow" down with high "traffic" on big race days...just a suggestion
Alternatively - split the servers and add in more disks for a more balanced system - end user will seem a huge dirrence

Agra - they split the bandwidth to cater for the live feeds hence the "slow" response on the server for live bets
this split affects the server access times which results in slow response but no effect on the live feeds

Re: Re: Interbet

Sorry about the jargon Agra - LOL
Its actually simple:
for instance - take a house with 10 taps
You have 1 inlet being your main water meter supplying water to your house
if you open all 10 taps simultaneously - the water flow will be slower but all 10 taps will supply you with water
Now if you close 5 taps then your water output is faster on the 5 open taps
to keep all 10 taps open and maintain the same water pressure as if 5 taps were open - increase your inlet (bandwidth) but using a 3/4 inch pipe from your main line instead of an 1/2 inch pipe
Hope this makes more sense and explains the bandwidth / traffic issues raised on big race days
