Craig Eudey, has had the below reply
the answers in Red are from Patrick Loker COMMERCIAL EXECUTIVE Gold Circle (Pty) Ltd,
Thanks again to Craig and Patrick
4) Get a small team to call all dormant tote accounts and find out why they
are not being used and where GC/tote could help. They could also phone
the big accounts and ask is there is anything else that they could do to
make things better.
We have started this process at the end of last year and are also following up on people who applied via the internet but who never forwarded their FICA documents.
5) Tabonline is very slow to update the results, payouts etc and it does slow
down the punting on future races.
Tabonline is Phumelela’s site and we are hoping to make significant changes to TabGold in the near future. In the next two months it should have a new “skin” which will make it look different and then we are planning a total change to both the Gold Circle and TabGold websites. We hope to have some of these other changes in place by the start of Champions Season.
6) GC/tote need a dedicated person that has the job of handling queries of
all kinds regarding racing. Dev at Hollywood does this very well and is onto
any problems very quickly and they are sorted out. Hollywood/ Owen Heffer
have a great reputation in racing because of their excellent customer service.
We have a dissemination department manned at all racing hours to deal with all racing related queries, as well as having a dedicated department (the CSC) which deals with queries originating from our tote outlets including support services.

Thanks to Craig and Patirck (tu)
With regard to 4 and 5 I guess it would be good to know how far these have gone and an anticipated "completion" date.
With regard to 6, certainly from where I stand, that just does not do what is needed imho. And I don't see the sense in 150 clanners all contacting that department or person with the same query when they would then have to do 150 of the same replies, and those replies may be queried by the 150 and so the process goes on and on and on. It just makes no sense for clanners or GC to "operate" in this way, far too time consuming for all concerned. A simple thread on here where questions can be asked, proposals made etc to which a designated person, from the department Patrick refers to, responds is surely the way forward. Is there an objection to this Craig (or Patrick) and if so, do you know why?
