The source which my Spectrum computer (1980's) used to generate random numbers was the status of the TV which, in those days, was the visual output. So, if I followed the exact procedure from booting to generating a random number the same number would alwys pop up, unless I changed the status of the TV during the process!!

Of all the PE horses drawn 1 today , 6 out of 9 are by trainers whose surname starts with S. ( sorry Shams computer didn't find your name
)..........
Nominations for PE 17/01/2014 of all the horses drawn no 1 , 7 out of 9 are trained by trainers whose surname begins with S ( sorry Shams the computer didn't include you again. :S )..........
Co incidence ?..........Lets hear from the rocket scientists.................
P.S I know lots of PE trainers surnames do begin with S.....but statistics/odds seem a little out of line!!!!..................

Shams are 100 % correct and Titch, u are guessing !
Firstly, I and many Trainers DO NOT UNDERSTAND why a HORSE which is drawn for a race must have the TRAINERS NAME ATTACHED! We are drawing individual horses and TRAINERS have nothing to do with it.
So, ANY AUDIT which was done by anyone, with TRAINERS NAMES attached to the horse is FRAUD!
We see a lot of alphabetical sequencing of Trainers names in draws (the only ones who dont see it are the Operators).
Thank the good lord for the Shams. I swear that I have had absolutely no contact with them and they have taken the time to see what I am seeing, because they have put the time and thought in! At times I have thought that I am the only one seeing this !
Too often our runners are drawn next to each other. The occurence rate is mathematically impossible. There is a definite alphabetical sequence in the draws, in terms of the first lettersof Trainers names. And we then get told "its been audited".
I place on record that I have met with Rian du Plessis, Patrick Davis and Vee Moodley on this very subject and was blown away.
And no, Titch, the draws are run by NRB (National Racing Bureau) , not NHA, and the NRB fall under Gold Circle and Phumelela.
Having said all of the above, I have the greatest respect for NRB and their staff. These people work under huge pressure, day in and day out and every single detail in every single racecard originates from their efforts. All that they are doing is implementing the system as provided to them.
Lastly, Titch, as this is the second time that you have mentioned this on this site, could you please show me the condition which guarantees a previously eliminated horse a run? Maybe another province to mine? (I admit to not knowing all regions conditions as well as my own)
I can assure you all, that each and every condition, per region, is strictly applied by NRB and that these conditions have absolutely nothing to do with NHRA (National Horse Racing Authority)
