Don't even think of mentioning that MOMF might get beaten! Rowdy will go into a depression and have a heart attack!

Without wanting to upset the Master Of My Fate brigade, if this horse wins from that draw, then we may have a freak horse. The jock may have to overcome the draw and slow it down, then turn it into a sprint up the straight. Conversely, if he does overcome the draw and sets a good pace, he could run out of puff at the business end. Master Sabina from a good draw, if handling the left hand turn, is good value at 11/2, and in my opinion, the biggest threat to MOMF.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

IMO the best value bet of the day comes up in Race 4 in the form of Jean's Pride. Improved significantly in her first run for Mike Stewart running well above her rating from an awful draw and forced to go to the front. She stayed on nicely at the end against a strong field. She gets the appy claiming 4kg's again so comes in with a very light weight. The only thing that worries me is the drop from 1400m to 1200m but could go very close. I see she has been claimed already from 14/1 into 8/1 but the 12/1 available on Betting World looks nice EW value to me.

I'll forgive you this time (tu) - but to be serious, I agree with your assessment (after my 'performance' yesterday, you would be well advised to reconsider, though); I think the appy (Graeme Hawkins's son I believe) is well worth is 4 kg allowance, weaker field - definitely not one to ignore (tu)

.....she ran out of her skin last weekend..... l think conditions really favoured her and she may need a breather tomorrow....as she is not the soundest around....waiting to see which way the wind blows as another in last week's race is bound to enjoy front running tactics and wont be compromised with a bad draw.....

All 3 her wins came over 1200 and 2 of them were over the Kenilworth 1200 - I'm more inclined to agree with Muhti in that she had a hard race last week and tomorrow may come too soon for her

i like this discussion and its nice to hear other peoples opinions regarding the various runners and races for lqp day.im studying the card because i have no interest in pe,kranji or jebel ali racing.i will have a bet later on uk racing.
as for my p6 for sat,im starting with the letter f in race 4,thus making it a 5 leg p6 for me.
r7 is a match race between helderberg blue and roman manner,i do prefer helderberg blue.
r8 ive narrowed down to beach beauty, espumanti,in the fast lane, along came polly and lanner falcon.i will incl do you remember even tho i dont like to incl woodruff runners on feature days unless in jhb.
queens plate i only incl jackson, ctn, red ray and king of pain.
