I know you can't compare as I too think these mugs get paid wayyyyyy too much but what Mister CEO earns is the same as what a mid level manager earns in Vegas, in fact Vee earns what a duty manager earns here.

Here a CEO of lets say, Harrah's (Caesars) earns about R100,000,000 a year. (whole package)

The CEO of a fortune 500 company earns about 20 times that and more........

Kind of puts things in perspective. Just some interesting figures, i know it has no bearing on SAF money

.....these guys are giving themselves the big accolades and a bump in compensation for concluding the Western Cape deal....they had a little sweat on the Pindi issue..... so they feel that they fully deserve it.....

.....these guys bungled the negotiation with the Meyersdal tote..... and kissed a massive monthly turnover good bye over a few % points....more money in the bookies coffers.....please let them not bleat that they cannot increase the stakes pools because bookies don't contribute....the winners could sponser an entire race day....but the way they are treated....no way....:S
