just a few questions? How do THEY do this? Do THEY have a meeting with Jockeys and Trainers and tell them to "pull" their horses? And how do "They" hide this from the viewers on Teletrack (and the Stipes too)? And how do "THEY" know which leg you the Punter has bankered ?

as far as i understand it, they allocated 2mill for queens plate meeting and hoping to get a pool of 5 mill.its been very tough for us punters over this festive period with the local racing, but i find it much easier to survive on uk jackpots and the english premier league.i do still play my local centres, except pe and kimb, but its been tough going with wins few and losses plenty.

How can you broadcast a week in advance that you going to start the pool with 5mil? How does the operator know that with certainty that you will have that amount of c/o's to fund the pool or unless the money is in the kitty already and we believe that all the pools are distributed. I don't have answers to anything but cannot understand how you can say that you will start the pool with 5mil. Believe whatever you want but that money has to come from the punter.

What about this idea! On Summer Cup, The Met and July meetings they should add R2000000 and of that allocate R1000000 to a consolation pool for those who have 5 legs in!

I fully agree with Winzip on the first two points made by him but you do get good value on Flamingo and PE if you follow some trainers and jocks.

I was happy when the coupling rule changed in the Jackpot as it presented a different bet to the pick 6 with couplings. Now we are back to square one with the Jackpot being a shortened version of the Pick 6.

i dont mind the rule change in the p6,but its not as if the wrong horse from most stables win to cause these huge payouts we have been having over the last month or so.in pe the wrong horse from stable winning is applicable, but what about, kenilworth, greyville, vaal?the latter 3 venues the c/overs were caused by the hot favourites getting rolled and an upset or 2 along the way.
im sure in time these bad results will settle down and punters will have more of a chance of fair results and making some money from studying form, because atm punters are wasting their time and money studying form, because form has gone out the window for the time being.

If they do not bring back the coupling rule, the Pick 6 will not be here. By the end of 2014
