Couldn't work out why PS wasn't on Power to Succeed in R9 but I see that has changed this morning with Crown Of Roses scratched, big runner me thinks.

Always worth noting when the stablemate is scratched to ''accomodate'' the other...:)

40 mm Randjes, 20 mm Turff , 5mm Vaal. Pen reading went from 20 yesterday to 22 today. All about what will fall through the day. Heavy clouds to the North of us, but we could get lucky. Or get Lucky in the first....;)

Our runners have got some work in, all who needed it got the grass on Friday, but the truth is that our normal work patterns have been disrupted over the last month. . We have a few with obvious chances, but One Mans Dream, Negev, Niebelung and Dream Hunter look to be our best. Trip Tease needed the run badly last time and was running on, so we go the 6 furlong to try and work out his range in strong company.

If the Vaal experienced the rain we had in Midrand last night...the going will be very soft to heavy.

Don't think that is the case here Greg, there were two scratchings yesterday so not necessary to scratch CofR to get PTS a run. They could have simply done a jockey change.
