1-55 Wolverhampton
Teide Peak,I've had a small ew bet at 20/1 last night..
They are amateur riders,so keep stakes low,but jock has won on it before and owners are punting it.

Race 1 – 1:55- Coral Mobile Just Three Clicks To Bet Amateur Riders Handicap – class 5 – 3yo+(0-75) – 1m1f103y

Amateur races are not usually something we would get involved in betting wise as the form can often be irrelevant with races run at ridiculously fast paces so a good jockey is an absolute must if you are betting. Harriet Bethel has had 2 rides here in the past year winning one and placing in the other. She rides Fujin Dancer (FR) who is a course winner that returns from a break having been reunited with Brian Ellison having had a couple of spins over hurdles with Philip Kirby. Brian is capable of having him ready after a lengthy absence and he is worth a market check as although he has yet to win off a mark this high he has to be considered if strong in the betting. Honey Of A Kitten (USA) is a course and distance winner that has had a very good year winning 6 times 4 of them here. He was turned over at 1/2 last time in a seller and he doesn’t have anything in hand off his current mark but his jockey isn’t the worst in the race and his course form warrants the utmost respect. Gaelic Silver (FR) is lightly raced for his age having just had the 14 starts. He broke his maiden 2 runs back and backed that up with a decent 4th last time at Lingfield. His sire Lando has yet to have a winner over course and distance which is a concern. The trainer jockey combination is a positive though with Hayley Moore winning one and placing 2 other times when riding for her father. Aldwick Bay (IRE) is well treated on his best form and comes into this on the back of a 2nd last time at Windsor on his final start for Richard Hannon. The form has worked out well and he has every chance if taking to the track. He is by Danehill Dancer who has a 9% s/r over course and distance. He is making his debut for Tom Dascombe who has a 10.71% s/r with horses he acquires from other trainers first time out. Teide Peak (IRE) is a course and distance winner that is 2lb below his last winning mark. He is ridden by the owners family member who won this race last year. He is a half brother to Ayaar who is OR 100 and Albany Rose who is a course winner. He is still open to progression after just 13 runs and one to consider. King Of The Celts (IRE) needs consideration as the trainer/jockey combination does well in these events. He is on a winning mark which is also a positive. He has yet to run at Wolverhampton and his sire has an 11.59% s/r over course and distance. None of his half siblings have run here either so it is not guaranteed he will take to the track but he has every chance if doing so. Unex Michaelangelo (IRE) broke his maiden when trained by John Gosden and he was bred to be better than a 66 OR horse that competes in these events. He is a course winner which came over a mile and he won’t lack assistance from the saddle as his jockey is one of the most experienced amateurs on the circuit. He needs a market check as strong support could be telling although these types of races may not be the yards ideal types for landing a gamble. Capitol Gain (IRE) was winning last October off a mark of 68 so he is well treated on his best form. He has yet to run at this track and the sire stats are a concern with Bahamian Bounty having a 9.63% s/r over course and distance, his half sister Angel Flores broke her maiden here for Richard Fahey so there is hope he may take to it. Flag Of Glory is a course and distance winner that is 2lb below his last winning mark of 4 years ago. He has won 3 times this year in Amateur races under this jockey and he needs to be considered. Ibiza Sunset (IRE) has won 1 of 25 starts and on the face of it looks up against. He is one to consider though as he is trained and ridden by the Powell family who was successful at Lingfield in another one of these races. Arashi doesn’t have the speed for one of these races unless there’s a proper burn up and he picks them up late. Costa Del Fortune (IRE) can only be considered if strong in the betting on the back of 2 years off the track. Teide Peak could offer some value in a bid to repeat last years win.

Race 2 – 2:25 – Coral APP Download From The APP Store Selling Stakes – class 6 – 3yo+ – 1m4f50y

Matraash (USA) returns after a break searching for the 3 timer. He is a 3 times polytrack winner that is still on a winning mark. He has yet to win fresh though and he needs to prove himself on the track. A Little Bit Dusty is a course and distance winner that has been running well over jumps. He is well treated back on the level and he has to be considered. Epic Storm (IRE) broke his maiden here in November last year but has generally struggled since. He is dangerously well treated if finding his best form and with the man of the moment Adam Kirby Booked to ride he has to be considered. Not a race we would get involved in betting wise, A Little Bit Dusty looks sure to go close

Race 3 – 3:05 – 32Red Handicap – class 5 – 3yo+(0-75) – 1m5f194y

Scribe (IRE) run an absolute stormer 2 runs back here over the extended 2m finishing 2nd to an inform horse. He was turned over at short odds next time having felt the effects of such a brutal effort. The drop back in trip will suit and he is to be considered. Odin (IRE) has been running well over hurdles and comes into this on the back of 2 decent efforts at Kempton. He isn’t on a bad mark and he is probably the one to beat although his sire Norse Dancer has yet to have a winner over course and distance. Montjess (IRE) is still a maiden but has gone close to winning on several occasions including her last 2 races where she has finished 2nd on both occasions. She has gone up the weights again for her narrow defeat here last time but she is sure to go close and needs consideration. Odin probably sets the standard but we are going to give a chance to Montjess at 3/

Race 4 – 3:40 – 32Red Casino Claiming Stakes – class 6 – 2yo – 1m141y

Not a race we would get involved with betting wise in what looks a straight battle between Jazzy Lady (IRE) and Howz The Family (IRE). Jazzy Lady (IRE) has been in tremendous form making the frame in her last 6 races. She will struggle to concede 5lb to Howz The Family who won a seller last time and looks to hasve every chance of backing it up with another win.

Race 5 – 4:10 – 32Red.com Median Auction Maiden Stakes – class 6 – 2yo – 1m1f103y

Power Up is more exposed than most but with the yard seemingly coming right into form he is the one to beat. Armourer (IRE) has improved with each run and has obvious claims if continuing the upward curve. The market will sort out the fancied runners and point out any of the newcomers that are expected to go well. We cannot see past the claims of Power Up

Race 6 – 4:40 – Ladbrokes Maiden Stakes – class 5 – 3yo+ – 1m141y

Severiano (USA) shaped with huge promise on debut behind Bright Strike and put behind a poor run next time with s decent 3rd last time at Kempton. The form has taken a boost with the 5th Dambuster winning next time. He is by Danehill Dancer who has a 10% s/r over course and distance. Aomen Rock was turned over at short odds last time at Kempton finishing 4th. He looks held by Great Conquest (USA) who finished a neck in front of Aomen Rock on what was his debut and he should confirm the form with that run under his belt. Similarity (USA) makes plenty of appeal on breeding and being by Street Sense he should love the surface as he has a huge 66.67% s/r over course and distance. The jockey is an unknown and it will be interesting to see how he fares in the betting. Strong support for Similarity has to be noted up against some that set a fair standard

Race 7 – 5:10 – Download The Ladbrokes APP Handicap – class 5 – 3yo+(0-75) – 1m141y

Heezararity got off the mark last time out over course and distance. He will need to pull out more back in a handicap but he has to be considered now he has his head in front. Eurystheus (IRE) has just the one win to his name when with Richard Hannon but he comes into this on the back a couple of decent runs and looks sure to go well. Hill Of Dreams (IRE)has claims on her best form but she arrives out of sorts and can only be considered if strong in the betting. One Scoop Or Two is a course and distance winner that came close to winning last time finishing 2nd behind Suehail. He makes obvious appeal and needs to be considered. Byroness would be of more interest if this was Kempton. Waverunner was an impressive winner of a fillies Handicap at Bath when trained by Godolphin but hasn’t hit the same heights since joining this yard. She is a half sister to polytrack winner Discoverer, trained by John Gosden and she could offer some e/w value in a tight looking race.

I rest my case, regarding these jockeys,
What did you make of that Bob?
She couldn't even pull it up after the line, weak as a kitten.
