Hi All; just a quick heads up; there is a huge possibility that we will not race tomorrow at Kenilworth...

The meeting has not been cancelled YET, but, unfortunately, if this thunderstorm continues, it will be...

We are in the midst of a massive downpour at present, which the weather guys say will last till tomorrow evening...

so far very little rain and the southeaster is blowing which is a good sign.i very much doubt that racing is in any trouble for sat.

I wish some of that cold air would hit Gauteng as the heat is akin to being at the bottom of a scrum!

The forecast is for 50mm overnight. If that happens then racing very unlikely

There is no way of racing tomorrow. Should move it to Sunday immediately....but not sure if that's possible with the jockey challenge! Hasn't stopped raining since 4pm and its getting worse by the minute

Any chance that they can move it to Monday?

Not sure what the logistics would be though...

Don't think you've ever heard of the Black South Easter.Brings lots of rain once or twice a year.Racing prospects grimmmmm!
