I get the impression that confusion reigns in the distinction between pool and fixed price bets................I don't know why this should be but consider the judgement in the "open bet" court case!
In the original case the operators contended:
a)unfair use of their intellectual property.&
b)they were not fixed price products.
The court ruled against the operators in both instances and yet on appeal, they only appealed (unsuccessfully) against a)................you figure?.......would love to know the thinking around not contesting the ruling on b).
Could this be in the background thinking perhaps.........I have no idea.

I agree with @teamwildracing...........................
Whats to stop them having a 1000 participants per month............charging R200 per participant and then giving prizes worth R5000 per month...............pocketing the rest!!!!!....
I thought a license was given to people who are prepared to lay/risk on a result. The only people allowed to run " sweepstakes" are the lotto.....:S

..................and the Tote !!!
I notice the site gives no indication of prizes/payouts.
Surely ,if nothing else, the manner in which prizes will be determined, should be declared..............as Country Member says, whats to stop a "take-out" of 90% and only 10% payed out.

POKER was a way of trying to grow abc, having our own skin on some network, but there was no way in getting it started legally, considering its proven to be a game of skill, infact there is a lot more skill involved than horse betting..
