What has BEE got to do with any syndicate. In any case, an open invitation was extended.
I am thinking of making that call but I have a feeling that the choice trainer might be a stumbling block for me.

You guys will be surprised at how many people think like this man in SA. I have just recently had a discussion with a man from South Africa telling me how close a land grab is in SA and that him, his friends and all their supporters cannot guarantee that there will not be bloodshed.
He also told me quite straight forwardly that unless you are a black man you cannot be from Africa or South Africa for that matter, even if you have been born in South Africa or your immediate lineage is from South Africa. He also told me that a black man invented the English alphabet and that a black man invented the mail system as we know it today (that fact has been accredited to Cyrus the Great who, incidentally, is from middle Eastern decent). He also tried to convince me that middle eastern is part of Africa therefore black.
My point with this story and it kind if ties in with the claims he made that...."South Africa is very close to Zimbabwe" (obviously meaning geographically but making sure we get the double meaning), is a wide spread belief that, not until the black people take back every inch of their land that was stolen from them through colonization will they rest or be happy. They don't only want the land but they want whatever is built on the land as well.................This is their right.
I have since stopped my debating with him as there was clearly only strong anti white sentiment and no constructive communication.
There are a lot of people who think like this entitled person and they will push and push and push until there is nothing left standing.....you can take that to the BANK!
I applaud 3A racing for their efforts and their revival of young person interest in South African horse racing!!!!!
Don't listen to all the neigh (get it, get it) sayers around you and keep on doing what you are doing!!!

the statement 3a is no bee compliant show the lack of under standing of what bee comprise. with all respect to the author i do no think bee is applicable for the owning and racing of race horse. why any one who love the racing can have the issue with the bunch of youngster who love the sport and want to increase the popularety of these with friends and by do this they help continue to grow racing for the future generation i dont now.
what i do now is this. younger south africans are more and more colorblind. these is our future. instead of hold grudge or look to incite racial tension, i chalenge any one to go to a school of youngsters the younger the better. there you will see that we have the future in these country. is no land grab non sense their. is kids enjoying their friends and who are intersted in the colour of skin as they interested in colour of eyes. is make no diference. i see these every day with my kids. but even more with my grandkids.

@TH:
' at how many people think like this man in SA....'
You have hit the nail on the head! Unfortunately, both sides are either deaf and blind (not to colour!), or extremely obdurate!
As a Khoisan descendant, I have every right to take exception to 'Africans' only; my ancestors were here as true indigenous long before (if I say 'them', that will be racist!) As such, to threaten to nationalise and solely take all the assets of this country is no worse than what they accuse colonialists of.
We require a genuine, committed and honest national mind change. Whites have to concede that the historical result of the majority of blacks being impoverished (even by their own people!) has t be addressed....not by self enrichment. That culture over the past 20 years has mentally scarred and paralysed the mass into thinking in terms f the Lotto, makhulu P6 or dream multi-million Rand Jackpot payout at the casino! To plan and work for it is not the norm (yes, plan hijackings!)
There are black leaders who have seen through this façade! Even the much adored Dr Ramphele is stained with BEE benefit / enrichment to the tune of circa R50 or R500-million, who now goes blurting about it as evil (yet, we pick on Malema!)
Most black see the Freedom Charter as a solution, coupled with nationalisation and a hue of socialism. Most whites view such utterances with alarm as communistic and ungodly! That's the reason, Malema's call for nationalisation is receiving such support! Believe you me; EFF will take a major slice of the votes and even knock the ANC Gauteng's majority. And, I'll tell you now, the first thing he will tackle is the deemed 'racist' horseracing industry! This makes sense since almost all the big players come from the mining, industrial, financial, manufacturing and retail sectors where blacks are seen to be continually exploited and 'slaves' to white capitalists. The suspension of Vavi adds more fuel to such thinking as a plot to marginalise a vocal opponent of E-Tolls, for instance!
As stated earlier, I have joined as a founder of South Africa First, where we are looking for common ground for all South Africans, regardless of colour, creed, sex or religion. We are calling for a national effort for reconciliation, mutual respect and consciousness where we stop calling whites racist and blacks corrupt, indolent and untrustworthy.
I received a lot of personal flack when I aired / repeated similar views as what you have heard.
I still maintain that there is a lot of goodwill around despite 20 years of frustration and poor governance. On the one hand, I also acknowledge and respect the fact that a lot of good has been done and achieved by the ANC.
Ad nauseum.... we have no leader or leadership; for all South Africans!
