I believe it is imperative to question the status quo, regardless of how upset people are getting about it. This is for the long term sustainability of the industry. Fact remains blacks are not represented at all in the racing industry top tier. Owning a racehorse and being involved in racing is not a job, I myself am a racehorse owner. So there is no best man for the job. The industry is not marketed to the masses and this could become a problem in the future. Using Zimbabwe as a reference, the population rose up against this token of opulence and abused racehorses, even killing some. Remember, Zimbabwe is not very far from south africa.

Surely if you can't afford to be an owner that's the way it goes..you have to work hard, unless your born to money..
Marwan Koukash is a wonderful example of working your way into the top tier.
Koukash was born on the west bank of the Jordan in December 1958. When he was eight years old, his family farm was bombed. With nowhere to live, his mother walked him and his seven siblings for three days without food until they reached the Jordan river and across into Arab Jordan. There they spent three years in a refugee camp, before moving to Kuwait.[1] Eventually, he moved to England to progress his education, and settled in St Helens, Merseyside to study at the local technical college.[2] He graduated from Liverpool John Moores University and progressed to get a PhD in electrical engineering. He taught at the university for five years, and was appointed Director of International Business. In 1992 he set up EuroMaTech, a corporate training company, from which he derived much of his wealth.[1]
Earn your wealth and luck, don't expect to be given it..

I don't mind you saying that at all Dave.
I shall not want to explain myself for the simple reason that I cannot.Perhaps other like minded members could.

If you can't explain yourself why do you post silly comments. You need to think a bit more before you post

Fark me sidewaze !!!! Is 3A a corporate making money? Perhaps at the expense of the previously disadvantaged? Or are they a bunch of likeminded people enjoying a sport ....open to all ?
So where the hell does BEE come into it? Does my bowls club have to be BEE compliant?
Does Orlando Pirates have to be compliant? A token whitey on the bench? (Apologies to the Bucaneers. . .jst an example). . .Sorry blood boils when I read tripe.
