He was a great all round player and disagree that it was his biggest asset. A legend of the game and 1 of a few players that have played in more than 100 test matches. Altho he sometimes gets to me as a rugby analyst.............

this goose step thing is a stride that a horse makes on his her way down
it is a 100 % pointer

its a stride that starts with one leg and ends with the same.
like a skip perhaps and whilst it seldom occurs I feel it is associated with fitness and elasticity in its stride.
This is way back but the one example that stands out is Old Macdonalds canter pass when he won at 40/1
he might have been backed to start at 25s

When I first opened this thread, I was thinking of st john grays horse who raced a couple years back, don't think it got out the maidens
