Is there a take out by the operator on the carry over amount on tote bets??
Example: Say the p6 is not won on day A (carry over amount is R500 000) ... Day B the P6 gets to 3 Bar of which 500K is the carry over amount from Day A... Does Phumelela take out a percentage from the 3 Bar or only 2.5 Mil (3Bar less the carryover of R500 000)??

?.......financial institutions just love giving extra points for positive cash streams that are growing in the present economy........not even the cash kings like supermarket chains of the recent past able to maintain a positive daily balance.......what a nice business model the operator can have to rake more in than you pay out
?......do you think betting products are designed to the benefit the punter......think again......:S

I really doubt that ever crossed Vee's mind - This was a decision to try to find a bet to grab headlines not to score points with the banks or they would have held the carryovers until the end of the month

?.....to put it in layman terms........banks offer an account holder a better rate on certain products if the daily balance remains above a certain threshold amount.......just imagine what a corporate bean counter can negotiate if he can guarentee a bigger daily balance for the bank to put it to better use......:

Only take out from the new money, the 2,5 mil.

We had 5 days to invest in the P6 pools without couplings.
I made an effort to obtain a opinium of at least 75 small punters at the TAB branches is Pretoria.
They all had the same complain. They can not afford to invest more in the P6 but rather included more horses in the legs of the exotic with a smaller percentage to win. They also said it still remains difficult to catch the exotic.
If we are lucky to strike "gold" it will surely be not a dream result as advertise by the rulemakers of TAB.
