After reading my comments again, I have to admit that I was harsh on C Lensley. However, I did not say the game is easy but I didn't think it was wise that he made his horse out to be a sure bet. In horse racing there is no such thing as a sure bet! Furthermore, I'm not talking from my pocket as my money was on, Way With Words.
Your (Sham Racing) posts are valued by many because it reflects true transparency. Keep up the good work!
To answer your question, "If the first timer won and Corrie never said a word ,what would your comment be then?"
None.. because there would be no expectation (whether I had money on it or not)..My point is he created expectations by many that Legend's Moon will win. His words was"he'll be disappointed if it doesn't win". With all due respect, in the end the horse flopped and the trainer looked foolish including the punters that hopped on.

I trully hope the horse will make amends in the very near future for the stable but you actually just stated the obvious because it ran 2nd last and can't do any worse, we hope. Like I've indicated to Sham Racing I realise my comments were harsh but you can't ignore the flip-side of the coin.
In general, the intent from trainers ain't always positive and you must be foolish to think the same.

fair comment Donkey...(tu) but in this case Coerie was of the opinion that the horse would win and he made that fact known with no hidden agenda...
Give everything but up!
