Tough card a few with chances
York
R1 – Very difficult race. Bogart showed plenty of speed on last run before saddle slip. Baccarat was 6th that day and on Saturday won Ripon's Great St Wilfrid so the form was franked. Stable in good form Neil Callan is booked for the ride. Well drawn and horse in good form. Our own expert sport & horse tipster in the UK send me a pm and he feels Above Standard should go close today.
R2 – The Grey Gatsby & First Flight both won their debut races although being very green and have scope for improvement. Ill Paparazzi also won impressively 2nd time out but I’m siding with Brazos, 2nd to The Grey Gatsby with Ryan Moore back in the saddle that won on it 1st time out.
R3 – The best outsider for me in this race is Willie the Whipper. He ran a better race than the placing suggest in the French derby. He was flying from last and finished sixth.
R4 – I will just sit back and enjoy this race, but I don’t think Toronado will win.
R5 – Willie Wag Tail – big step up in trip & headgear on today. The money was down for this horse in recent races, so it must be showing something at home. If Spencer can ‘switch’ him off early in the race he could surprise down the long straight to the finish.
R6 - The Hannon/Hughes combo with a horse that started it’s career with a bang. Lost the plot a bit and I think could be in the shake-up today.

Declaration Of War, his form from Ascot was franked with the horse who beat Soft Falling Rain on Sat as well as a few others.... Help yourself 10/1 for a O'Brian horse in a Group 1, not everyday that will come along!
