Geat write up THH and Frodo, as usual you guys add much insight and perspective to allow the punters a good look at how the handicapper has gone about his business.
Have noticed that although mentioned by Frodo, Where's My Chop usually pulls a blinder when running with 58kg's or less and interestingly he wins then places in the next three runs and wins again, placed in his previous three runs so could today be the sequence of his career???
Race 1 : Wendy Mae Ultra consistent over distance BUT she hasn't been tested on the sand and as always caution should be taken when striking bets, on paper though it looks a two horse race between Wendy Mae and Crown Bearer, not really much else in this field to consider despite those with a tiny glimpse of sand form, should either take to the surface it will be race over very quickly.
Race 5 : Shiver & Shake has more to offer and has the ability to bounce back after her unlucky penultimate second.
The lucky last : Mauri Blue on level weights seems to have found his home on the sand and although strong claims will come and have already come for Veldrifter (additional 8kg's) the weight might be the difference.
