I must be the "frenchmans" Jonah...........so many people say he is great .............he seems to have very "bad luck" in 80% of the rides I watch!

Someone like Pat Cosgrave should be given the ride on Shea Shea, at least he knows the UK tracks better than the tit...

Soumillon on top form is in a league of his own, but that ride was a complete shambles from beginning to end.

When is the clown on top form
I got castigated him a few months back for picking up on this idiots brain dead attitude.

At the end of the day,it's about the horse not the jockey.

Let me just say that even though Shea Shea has won a few times over 6 furlongs, he is primarily a 5 furlong specialist and most of his big wins have come over the minimum trip.

......Having said that, everybody knows my opinions of that Belgian muppet.......:)

Questioning a ride is my last option when looking for reasons as to why a horse did not win.Reading into a horses course and distance suitability, class, readiness and a whole lot of conditions of the race and day should hold more merit.Until these factors have been thoroughly dissected shooting down the merits of a ride has no place in my book. After all a player's expertise surely should lay/lie here rather then jockeyship.Having the privilege of a grandstand ride excludes too many of these factors. The other thing is MDK is no fool when it comes to jockeyship and many a top rider will bear testimony to this.We unfortunately aren't privy to his thoughts so we will have to wait and see.I can hardly see him changing his opinion of the jockey as this would mean his earlier judgements were not correct.I am no fan of the Belgian neither did I look up his statistics but I'm sure they back up the trainers choice.

After checking on Elusive Kates career runs I decided to go for her instead of SL so with added interest did I watch the race and although I won't be able to tell one course from the other(they are all so magnificent) my strongest feel was how unsuitable the track was going to be for Shea Shea.I would not be able to explain why though.

Shea Shea and the horse that ran second at ascot finished along side each other. Lethal Force and the horse he beat at Ascot ran about the same race yesterday , maybe Shea Shea has ran his race ?
