iPhone iPad android horse racing apps

Just wanted to know if anyone uses any apps to follow horse racing either on android or Mac. I am looking for a decent service to keep notes on horses. I use nagme for the alerts but I am getting over it.

Also if anybody can recommend any decent handicapping articles or books I would be most grateful.

Can you not just make notes on formgrids and attach to formlines

From what I tried on form grids your notes don't carry through to the horses next race so unless I am back checking the form I won't remember the horse.
