I fancy Pimpernel in the 2nd today. I think he will improve markedly from his first outing. Only concern is that being by Sir Percy and a Pentire mare he may only wake up at the 1600m marker.

I'm pretty sure he is quite precocious so yeah, 5/1, worth an E/W nibble.

Thanks Loopy and Jet.Been a while since we were offered such a competitive card.Horses that had fair chances have drawn badly viz
Miss Mirren
Sadhu
Eminence Day,Big Thrash
Nick Jagger,Super Groove.
Initially thought that the maiden races in the exotics were softer targets.No such luck!

Race 8

Eminence day is the horse to beat and was unlucky not to have won last time out! Only concern would be the draw for me with many likely improvers in the field. The 2 that stand out for me is Caribbean day and Badger Friendly.

Race 9
Should be easy for Ritz Cocktail to dispose of a field like this and a possible banker. Dangers will have to be Nick Jagger and Picador for me.
